Great golf (for two great causes) is just two months away!

It’s June, so it’s certainly not too early to think about golf. On that note, we remind you that the 10th annual – yes, 10th! – GMAC Golf Outing is exactly two months from Friday!

Mark your calendar to join us Aug. 21 at Ironwood Golf Course, W27-N6166 Moraine Drive. Along with fellow lead partner ActionCOACH Business Coaching, we promise the biggest, most fun event yet!

Last year, more than 220 people golfed, ate, laughed and participated in goofy contests. When all was done, they raised $20,000 for the Wisconsin chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin.

Can we top it this year? Yes, with your help and involvement.

Once again, a plethora of sponsorships are available starting at just $250. We need silent auction items, too. If you’d like to join in, contact Deb at 262-821-9680 or e-mail deb@gmswi.com.

For golfers, the price is again $125 per participant. Here’s what’s included: 18 holes, range access starting at 8:30 a.m., drink tickets, lunch and dinner, silent and live auctions, and eligibility for lots of prizes. Shotgun start is at 10 a.m.

We’ve brought back a contest for the best-dressed male and female golfers (hint: gaudy is good). The always-challenging ball toss contest will be in play. And, because we’re counting on another beautiful day, we’ve moved dinner outside onto the patio.

Foursomes seem to fill up faster every year, so register soon to get yours in. If you don’t have a foursome, we’ll match you up with some new friends. Either way, we encourage you to act soon.

Ten years have gone by pretty fast. We started the golf outing with the idea of helping some people in need. We’ve probably helped a lot since then … and with your support, we’ll help even more.
